Greg and Kerry

 Greg Baker is originally from Michigan and moved to the Sarasota/Bradenton area in 1972.  His father helped develop a large mobile home park in Ellenton (Colony Cove) in the 70's and owned and operated a manufactured and modular home business in Sarasota for 25+ years.  That's where Greg got his start in the aluminum business. He received his aluminum license in 1979 and has been active in all phases of aluminum and wood construction for 44 years.

Greg has been passionate about aviation since age 14. At age 16 he had his first solo flight.  He holds a commercial certificate with single engine and instrument ratings. Greg has conducted many manatee and wildlife aerial survey flights over the years for numerous organizations including Mote Marine. 

 Kerry Baker is a Florida native from Tallahassee and a graduate of Florida State University with a degree in Criminology. She worked at the State Crime Lab in Pensacola prior to moving to Bradenton in 1995.  She worked as a State Health and Safety Inspector for DBPR Hotels and Restaurants for 6 years here in the Sarasota area before joining the family business in 2003.  Kerry also worked for many years for a non-profit organization specializing in manatee research (Sea to Alliance -now Clearwater Marine Aquarium)  and also conducted manatee aerial surveys with husband Greg as well as aerial video boat survey studies for Mote Marine.

Greg and Kerry both worked with Greg's father in the manufactured home business for many years as project managers. Baker Enterprises Manufactured and Modular homes offered full turnkey services. Greg and Kerry managed the projects from demolition to landscaping! 

Greg and Kerry enjoy spending time with their adopted dog Dante (who loves frisbees!)
